Vocational training is a key component of SEA's (Social Environmental Agency) efforts to empower individuals and communities in Jubaland, South West, and Banadir regions. We recognize the importance of providing individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to improve their livelihoods and create sustainable income-generating opportunities.
SEA offers a wide range of vocational training programs tailored to the needs and interests of the community. These programs cover various sectors, including agriculture, entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, technical skills, and vocational trades. We work closely with local partners and experts to design and implement training courses that are relevant, practical, and aligned with market demands.
Our vocational training initiatives aim to equip individuals with the skills and competencies needed to secure employment, start their own businesses, or enhance their existing livelihood activities. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance to ensure that participants gain practical experience and develop the confidence to succeed in their chosen field.
By offering vocational training, SEA aims to reduce unemployment, alleviate poverty, and promote economic self-sufficiency within the communities we serve. We believe that investing in vocational skills development not only improves individual livelihoods but also contributes to the overall socio-economic development of the region.
Together, we can make a difference when it matters the most. Join us in our mission to provide aid and support to those in need in Somalia.
SEA's Vocational Training program has trained 300 beneficiaries in Tailoring and Tie and Dye programs, equipping them with essential skills for employment and entrepreneurship in the garment industry.
